Preparing the Home:
To ensure a smooth transition, we provide the current tenant with a move-out checklist well in advance (15 days prior the lease expiration date). While most tenants do an excellent job, there may be a few areas that need attention.
Our office arranges a quick visit approximately seven days before the move-out date to inspect the home, discuss expectations with the outgoing tenants, and address any deficiencies that need to be resolved before your move-in.
Move-Out Condition:
Immediately after 12 pm on the last day of the leaving tenant’s lease, our office staff will be present to document the move-out condition via video and arrange any necessary follow-up, such as scheduling professional cleaners to ensure the home meets our stringent standards. This thorough process ensures that you will receive a home in optimal condition.
However, please note that during the month-end move-in/out days, there is a high demand for cleaning services, which can result in a tight schedule for the cleaners. While we are confident in the quality of work provided by our cleaning contractor, it is possible that additional time or access may be required to complete the cleaning to our standards. We will maintain open communication with you throughout the process to keep you informed.
Move-In Condition:
No later than 12 pm on your move-in day, the home will be recorded again to capture its exact condition. You will receive a comprehensive self-check-in move-in report that includes videos, pictures, and detailed descriptions. This documentation allows you to familiarize yourself with the property and ensures that any existing issues are properly recorded.
Addressing Concerns:
Within the first 48 hours of your self-move-in, we encourage you to reach out to us with any concerns or issues you may have discovered. You can record your concerns via email, pictures, or videos.
This proactive approach helps us establish an accurate move-in condition and enables us to promptly address any outstanding matters, ensuring your satisfaction with your new home.
